How to choose between standalone and subscription courses

Introduction
codend Academy has two course models: standalone courses and subscription-based courses. They are designed for different learning needs, so choosing the right one depends on your goal, schedule, and how much guidance you want.
A standalone course is purchased individually. It is best when you want a focused path, lifetime access, and a clear outcome around one topic or level. A subscription course is included with an active membership. It is best when you want ongoing access to a broader self-paced computer science library.
Choose a standalone course when you want depth
Standalone courses are built for learners who want to commit to a specific course and keep access to it. They are a good fit when you know the topic you want to study, want a structured path, and prefer a course that remains in your library after purchase.
Eligible standalone courses may also offer a trial session before purchase. That trial is meant to help you evaluate the instructor, format, and fit before buying the individual course.
Choose a subscription when you want breadth
Subscription-based courses are included while your membership is active. This model is useful when you want to explore multiple computer science areas such as algorithms, databases, operating systems, networks, web development, and software engineering.
Subscription courses are primarily self-paced. They do not include trial sessions, so you should review the course details and curriculum before subscribing.
The simple rule
If you want lifetime access to a specific course, choose standalone. If you want access to a growing self-paced course library, choose the subscription.
Both paths are designed around the same philosophy: structured computer science education, practical work, and real understanding instead of shallow tutorial hopping.
